Mineral de Santa Ana in Mexico's Guanajuato State celebrates Good Friday (Viernes Santo) with pre-crucifixion procession of penitents (male and female) carrying heavy wooden platforms with life-size statues of Jesus, the Virgin Mary, and other saints from the church through the town.
